Irrigation Projects of the UN Korean Reconstruction Agency

The newly-built Song Pa Pumping Station, one of many irrigation projects undertaken in South Korea by the United Nations Korean Reconstruction Agency (UNKRA). Water drawn from the Han River is stored in the reservoir, and pumped into the fields during the dry season. UNKRA spent $1,500,000 on the importation of irrigation materials in Financial Year 1953, and has budgeted another $4,400,000 for 1954. [No exact date]
