UNKRA'S Help to Korea

The only major producer of cement in South Korea, located in the Samchok area, suffered considerable damage during the war. The UN Korean Reconstruction Agency provided materials for the repairs of the buildings machinery and equipment, and a standby power unit. A new power house, equipped with two 1,100 H.P. diesel generators, was installed recently.
