Lt. Gen. John B. Coulter, of UNKRA, Holds Press Conference

Lt. General John B. Coulter, (center), Agent-General of the United Nations Korean Reconstruction Agency (UNKRA), at the press conference he held today at UN Headquarters. The General said that the United Nations operation in Korea, ""so generously and vigorously supported during the fighting,"" is in danger of failing in its peacetime rehabilitation task, and added: ""At this moment, our plans for the future are badly hampered by a serious lack of funds."" General Coulter came here ""to seek new pledges, as well as payment of existing pledges.""
