A survey as part of a pilot project in community development is being conducted by a joint team representing the Church World Service (CWS) and the UN Korean Reconstruction Agency (UNKRA), preliminary to the opening of an UNKRA-built Fundamental Education Centre at Suwon, Korea.
Sociologist Ruth Amsler, of CWS, who lived and worked with the people of the village while making a study on their ways of life, gets a lesson on yarn winding.
