Commander of UN Force in Farewell visit to Ethiopian Contingent

Lieut. Gen. Sean McKeown, Commander of the United Nations Force in the Congo today paid a farewell visit to members of the Ethiopian contingent of the Force stationed here. He is scheduled to leave the Congo at the end of this month and return to Ireland.The occasion was marked by a review of the contingent and presentation of medals by the Commander, to whom members of the contingent presented an Ethiopian warrior cap, spear, shield and sword.
