United Nations Iraq-Kuwait Observation Mission (UNIKOM) Monitors Demilitarized Zone

Off-duty soldiers from the multi-national UNIKOM forces relax over a game in the Northern Sector of the demilitarized zone, which extends 10 miles into Iraq and five miles into Kuwait from the borders as agreed to in 1963. May 1991.
