A view of the North Lawn at United Nations Headquarters. The three segments of the "Berlin Wall" at right were presented as a gift to the UN in 2002 from the Federal Republic of Germany. The bronze sculpture at left, titled "Let Us Beat Swords into Plowshares", was created by Soviet sculptor Evgeny Vuchetich and was presented to the United Nations in 1959.
