General Assembly Hears Views of Mexico, Singapore, Botswana, Venezuela, United Arab Emirates and Yemen in General Debate
Nearing the end of the general debate, the General Assembly this afternoon heard statements by the representatives of Mexico, Singapore, Botswana, Venezuela, the United Arab Emirates and Yemen. At the end of the meeting, the representatives of Chile and Byelorussia spoke under the right of reply. Before the Assembly resumed its general debate this afternoon, it decided without a vote to include an additional item in its agenda for the session. The item is entitled ""Status of the Council for Mutual Economic Assistance in the General Assembly"".
