International Conference on the Relationship Between Disarmament and Development

The International Conference on the Relationship between Disarmament and Development was opened at United Nations Headquarters in New York on 24 August by Secretary-General Javier Perez de Cuellar. The Conference elected as its President Natwar Singh, Minister of State for External Affairs of India.
