World AIDS Day Observance Addresses "The Children Left Behind"

World AIDS Day is observed at United Nations Headquarters with panel discussions on the theme, ""The Children Left Behind"". Participants in the observance include (left to right): Queen Noor Al Hussein of Jordan; Dr. Peter Piot, Executive Director of the Joint United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS (UNAIDS); and Mrs. Nane Annan. The event was organized by the Department of Public Information (DPI).
