Special Political Committee Agrees to Take Up Palestine Question First, Peacekeeping Operations Next
The Special Political Committee agreed this afternoon, following a long procedural debate, to take up the Palestine refugee question as the first item on its agenda. The item on a comprehensive review of the question of United Nations peace-keeping operations is to be taken up next, but, whenever an opportunity arises during the consideration of the Palestine refugee item, delegates who wish to make statements on the peace-keeping item will be given the floor.
