United Nations Department of Public Information

Radio coverage of United Nations activities by the United Nations Department of Public Information includes broadcasts of meetings, actuality programs and daily news bulletins in the five official languages - English, French, Chinese, Russian and Spanish.
While meetings are in progress at United Nations headquarters, staff reporters and editors of the Radio Division write scripts for daily news bulletins which are replayed overseas by short-wave transmitters.
