Draft of Universal Declaration of Human Rights Adopted by General Assembly

9 December 1948

At the Palais de Chaillot, Dr. Dimitri Z. Manuilsky (Ukrainian USSR) addresses the General Assembly on the Declaration of Human Rights. Mr. Manuilsky said that his delegation would support the Soviet proposal that consideration of the Declaration be postponed until the 4th Session of the Assembly.
