Assembly Hears Four Speakers in General Debate

The General Assembly, continuing the general debate, heard statements this morning by the representatives of Mozambique, Libya, Senegal and Rwanda. At the end of the meeting, Dahomey, as the current Chairman of the African Group, raised a point of order regarding comments attributed to the Permanent Representative of the United States, Daniel P. Moynihan, on the address to the Assembly made last week by President Adi Amin Dada of Uganda, the current Chairman of the Organization of African Unity (OAU). Further statements on the matter were made by the representatives of Senegal, Libya and the United States.
