Security Council to Meet in Panama City

The Security Council will open a new series of meetings in Panama on 15 March - its first in Latin America. The agenda calls for consideration of measures for maintaining and strengthening international peace in that part of the world. The meetings will be held in the Legislative Palace of Panama which was turned over to the United Nations for the duration of the Security Council meetings in Panama City.
