Rehabilitation of Suez Canal Workshops at Port Fuad

The United Nations, utilizing the advisory assistance of Mr. J. Connors - technical assistant and senior aide to UN Secretary-General's special representative to direct Suez Canal clearance operations General Wheeler - helped Egyptian engineers who with the normal workshop staff have completed 90 percent of the rehabilitation work.
A ""Universal"" milling machine being used to cut teeth in a reduction gear under repair at the machine shop of the Port Fuad works. The gear is for use on a tugboat. 1957.
