UN Force in the Congo

Dr. Ralph J. Bunche (center), Personal Representative of the
Secretary-General in the Congo, is seen coming out of the UN Headquarters in Leopoldville. Some 15,700 soldiers from eleven countries are now on duty with the UN Force (ONUC) in the Republic of the Congo, helping to restore order and calm in the country.
