Security Council Receives 3-Power Proposal on Situation in the Congo
The Security Council this afternoon received a three-power draft resolution which, among other things, would declare full support for the Central Government of the Congo in maintaining law and order, and authorize the use of United Nations force, if necessary, to apprehend all foreign mercenaries and hostile elements.
