United Nations Under-Secretary Ralph Bunche Arrives in Leopoldville

Dr. Ralph J. Bunche, UN Under-Secretary for Special Political Affairs, arrived here earlier today from Tanganyika, after attending that country's independence celebrations as one of the representatives of Acting UN Secretary-General U Thant.
Dr. Bunche (right) is seen at the Ndjili Airport shortly after his arrival as he stood at attention during the playing of the Congolese National Anthem Standing beside him is Premier Cyrille Adoula, of the Central Government of the Congo, who was on hand to welcome him.
