Secretary-General Visits Denmark for a Two-Day Official Visit

While on a two-day official visit to Denmark, the Secretary-General went to Hoevelte military barracks to officially open the planning element of the Multinational United Nations Stand-by Forces High-readiness Brigade (SHIRBRIG) which should be fully operational by 1999.
