Conference of the Committee on Disarmament

The Conference of the Committee on Disarmament today held its 449th plenary meeting in the Palais des Nations, Geneva, under the Chairmanship of Ion Datcou, Representative of Romania. Statements were made by the Deputy Special Representative of the Secretary-General and by the Chairman. After conclusion of the open part of the meeting, statements were made by the Representative of the United States of America, the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics, Mexico, Brazil and Romania.
