Arab Refugee Girls Study Nursing in England
Eighteen Palestine refugee girls are taking a three-year training course leading to nursing certificates from the British Ministry of Health. Four of them are studying at the Bolingbroke Hospital in London. The young women were selected by the UN Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA), which pays for their passages and provides for their incidental expenses.
