Field Coverage
The United Nations' Care for the Palestine Refugees, Middle East, May 1957
At the beginning of the year, the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) was still taking care of, and feeding, some 925,000 Arab refugees of the Palestine war of 1948. UNRWA has made constant efforts to provide employment for the refugees. To help solve the problem, vocational training centres capable of training first-class craftsmen have been set up by the Agency.
