Palestine Arab Refugees

Some 900,000 refugees are still on the rolls of UNRWA, the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees. The Agency is providing food, medical care and shelter as well as helping the refugees to become self-supporting where possible. Afforestation plantings to reclaim dry areas in Gaza Strip, 1957.
