UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA)

Refugees are seen here in a Sewing and Home Economics Centre at the Yarmouk camp, 20 km south of Damascus. There are 30 girls taking a six-months course. The Yarmouk camp with 17,000 refugees was built by the refugees themselves with contributions from the Government and UNRWA.
