UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA)

A refugee receiving training in the carpentry workshop of the Vocational Training Centre in Wadi Seer. UNRWA's efforts to assist Palestine refugees to become self-supporting are focused on vocational training. By 1963 the Agency hopes to graduate 2,500 students annually in over 20 trade and professional courses.
