A woman refugee carrying bread on her head in the Fawar camp near Hebron, 26 km. from Bethlehem. There are 1,151,024 refugees registered with UNRWA as of 30 June 1961. thirty-eight per cent of them are sheltered in 57 UNRWA camps located in Jordan, Gaza, Lebanon and Syria.
