Eighth Session of the Commission on Human Rights

Reconvening for its eighth session, the Commission on Human Rights on 14 April unanimously re-elected its officers, adopted a 20-item agenda, and began to debate the first matter of business. The session which is expected to last nearly two months was opened by Dr. Charles Malik, of Lebanon, last year's Chairman.
