Medals Presented to Departing Danish-Norwegian Battalion of UNEF

4 April 1959

At a farewell parade today, UNEF medals were presented to the fifth Danish-
Norwegian Battalion (DANOR) of the United Nations Emergency Force, shortly
before the departure of the Battalion on rotation. The parade, consisting of some 500 Danish and Norwegian troops, was attended by Lt. General E.L.M. Burns, UNEF Commander.
