New Soviet Representative to UN Presents Credentials

Ambassador Arkady Aleksandrovich Sobolev (left), who succeeds the
late Andrei Vyshinsky as Permanent Representative of the Soviet Union to the United Nations, presents his credentials to UN Secretary-General Dag Hammarskjöld. The short ceremony took place this afternoon in Mr. Hammarskjöld's office, on the 38th floor of the Secretariat building.
