French Hand Over Port Fouad to U.N. Emergency Force

Port Fouad, across the canal from Port Said, this morning was handed over to the U.N. Emergency Force (UNEF) by the French forces at an impressive ceremony held in a large square near the docks. After a parede, the French forces - three companies of paratroopers and a platoon of five tanks - evacuated the city, leaving Colombian troops of UNEF in control of key positions.
