UN Emergency Force in Egypt

The strength of the UN Emergency Force in Egypt has been increasing steadily ever since November 15 when the first UNEF soldier arrived at Abu Suweir. Serving with UNEF presently are contingents from Brazil, Canada, Colombia, Denmark, India, Indonesia, Norway, Sweden, Finland and Yugoslavia.
In Port Said Harbour a UNEF soldier standing guard on a pier near the Italian cargo ship ""Pertilia"" which had brought equipment and supplies for the UN force. In the barge in the foreground are some crates already unloaded from the vessel.
