Salvage Work in the Suez Canal

The 1,390-ton sunken tug ""Edgar Bonnet"" has just been set afloat by the UN salvage team.
The ""Bonnet"", one of the most difficult obstructions in the canal, blocked the canal near Ismailia, about 46 miles south of Port Said. Dutch salvage vessels participated in the ""Bonnet"" work, and then towed the vessel to workshops at Lake Timsah.
