Mineral Surveys in Ethiopia
The Government of Ethiopia, with the assistance of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and with the United Nations as executing agency, is conducting a programme of selective and detailed mineral exploration in two general areas, Sidamo in the South and Wollega in the west, and is providing practical training to Ethiopian staff in the application of advanced techniques in locating buried mineral deposits.
