Special Committee of 24 on Decolonization Holds Meetings in Conakry, Lusaka and Addis Ababa

The Special Committee of 24 on decolonization left New York on 3 April for a series of meetings in Africa in which it gave priority to the hearing of petitioners and to the consideration of the questions of Southern Rhodesia, Namibia and the African Territories under Portuguese administration. The meetings were held in Conakry, Guinea, from 10 to 13 April; in Lusaka, Zambia, from 17 to 21 April; and the Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, from 25 to 28 April.
