2006 World Food Day Celebrated in Ethiopia

Local farmers and members of the agro-pastoralist community of Awash Fentale, in the Afar Region in Ethiopia, where the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO-Ethiopia) runs an irrigation development project in partnership with the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, gather together to celebrate World Food Day 2006, in Awash, Ethiopia.
