United Nations Peacekeeping Force in Cyprus (UNFICYP)

1 October 1964

The United Nations Force in Cyprus (UNFICYP) is composed of military contingents placed at the disposal of the UN by Austria, Canada, Denmark, Finland, Ireland, Sweden and the members are provided by Australia, Austria, Denmark, New Zealand and Sweden. It also includes a hospital unit provided by Austria.
