Conference of Eighteen-Nation Committee on Disarmament

The Conference of the Eighteen-Nation Committee on Disarmament today held its 395th plenary meeting in the Palais des Nations, Geneva, under the Chairmanship of H.E. Ambassador U Chit Myaing, Representative of Burma. The Special Representative of the Secretary General made a statement and conveyed a message to the Conference from the Secretary General. The Representative from the USSR made a statement and conveyed a message to the Conference from Mr. A.N. Kosygin, Chairman of the Council Ministers of USSR. The Representative of the USA made a statement and conveyed a message to the Conference from President Richard M. Nixon.
