Conference of Eighteen-Nation Committee on Disarmament

The Conference of the Eighteen-Nation Committee on Disarmament today held its 395th plenary meeting in the Palais des Nations, Geneva, under the Chairmanship of H.E. Ambassador U Chit Myaing, Representative of Burma. The Special Representative of the Secretary General made a statement and conveyed a message to the Conference from the Secretary General.

A general view of the public part of the meeting, taken as Dr. Dragoslav Protitch, Special Representative of the Secretary General, delivered an address by UN Secretary General U Thant to the Conference.
