Thor Thors (left), Iceland's Ambassador to the United States, and Dr. Tiburcio Carias, Jr., of Honduras, have an informal conversation while awaiting the opening of a meeting of the Assembly's 1st (Politicd and Security) Committee. Both are permanent representatives to the U.N. and chairmen of their delegations to the Assembly.
