HABITAT: UN Conference on Human Settlements

A major UN conference devoted primarily to the problems of rapid, unplanned urban growth is being held in Vancouver, Canada, from 31 May to 11 June. Earnest Boateng of Ghana addressing this morning's plenary meeting of the Conference held in the Queen Elisabeth Theatre.
