Security Council Votes to Call Emergency Session of General Assembly

The Security Council yesterday evening adopted a Yugoslav resolution to call an emergency special session of the General Assembly to solve the Middle East crisis, as provided by the United for Peace resolution of the Assembly. The vote was 7 in favor, 2 against (France and the United Kingdom), and 2 abstentions (Australia and Belgium).
