Peacekeeping Chief Awards Peacekeeping Service Medals to Military and Police Officers

Jean-Marie Guéhenno (second from right), Under-Secretary-General for Peacekeeping Operations is saluted by one of the military and police officers currently serving at UN Headquarters in the Department of Peacekeeping Operations before he awarded the officer a Peacekeeping Service Medal during a medal parade held in observance of the UN Peacekeepers' Day, at UN Headquarters Ceremony in New York.
