President of the Supreme Revolutionary Council of the Somali Democratic Republic Visits UN Headquarters

The President of the Supreme Revolutionary Council of the Somali Democratic Republic, Major General Mohamed Siad Barre, paid an official visit to United Nations Headquarters on 8 October and attended a dinner given in his honour by Secretary-General Kurt Waldheim. On 9 October he made an address to the General Assembly.
