Dr. Ralph Bunche Visits UNEF

Dr. Ralph Bunche, UN Under-Secretary for Special Political Affairs, arrived in Gaza on 23 April for a six-day visit with the United Nations Emergency Force (UNEF). During his stay, Dr. Bunche called on most of the national contingents serving in UNEF.
During a flight from El Quseima - on the International Frontier between Egypt and Israel - to Gaza, Dr. Bunche uses a pair of binoculars to scan the area below. Behind him is Lt. Col. Krsto Covic, Yugoslav Liaison Officer with UNEF HQ.
