Under-Secretary Ralph J. Bunche Visits UNEF

Dr. Ralph J. Bunche, UN Under-Secretary for Special Political Affairs, who arrived here yesterday for a four-day visit to the United Nations Emergency Force (UNEF), today visited the UNEF hospital at Rafah and the Headquarters of the Canadian contingent stationed there, as well as the sector of the ADL (Armistice Demarcation Line) patrolled by units of the Indian contingent.
Dr. Bunche (white shirt) is seen with members of the Indian unit as Maj. M.L. Verma (centre, foreground) uses a sand model of the area to explain to the visitor the deployment of the unit along the ADL.
