Sixteenth Regular Session of General Assembly Meets

The sixteenth regular session of the General Assembly which opened yesterday met this morning and elected Mr. Mongi Slim of Tunisia as President. Following the election of the President, the plenary meeting was interrupted to allow the Main Committees, meeting successively in the plenary hall, to elect their Chairman.
