Upgrading Farmers' Skills in Kenya

The International Development Association (IDA), an affiliate of the World Bank, is helping the Government of Kenya finance a high priority education programme, designed primarily to upgrade farmers' skills and, in turn, to increase agricultural productivity. Farmers are given practical instruction by means of mobile units.
