International Aid to Morocco Paralysis Victims

Over 10,000 persons in Morocco were left paralyzed following widespread mass poisoning caused by the adulteration of cooking oil by aviation lubrication oil. Red Cross societies, WHO and UNICEF are among the international organizations which rushed aid to the stricken areas.
Swiss Red Cross physiotherapist Verena Stahel is giving individual treatment to a young Moroccan boy, at the Khemisset centre. All the physiotherapists here are Swiss. About 1,100 patients are being treated at this centre.
