Soviet Premier Visits United Nations

18 September 1959

H.E. Nikita S. Khrushchev, Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the USSR, today visited the United Nations where he addressed the 82-Member General Assembly.
Premier Krushchev is seen delivering his address to the Assembly. On the rostrum behind the speakers are (l. to r.) UN Secretary-General Dag Hammarskjöld; General Assembly President, Dr. Victor A. Belaunde (Peru), and Mr. Andrew W. Cordier, Executive Assistant to the Secretary-General.
